Despite being the marmite of the footwear world, Crocs have cemented a reputation as a shoe for both A-listers and Gen-Z alike – and the American retailer have unveiled an ogre-green pair inspired by Shrek.
The company are set to debut a new range, complete with the recognisable Shrek hue, as well as a fluffy brown strap and his iconic ears and nose.
According to LadBible, it is unclear exactly how much the controversial clogs will set you back, or when the official launch date is.
A classic pair of the shoes, which come with a holed upper sole, retail for £44.99 for both men and women.
And while the shoes may often prove to be divisive, it appears that the new brand of footwear has already won fans over.

Social media users confessed they were blown away by the collection, and said they were determined to get their hands on a pair of the shoes.
One Twitter user stated: ‘These are the ugliest shoes I ever… *add to cart*’, while others were more overtly keen: ‘Who wants matching Crocs?’
The company was started by three friends from Colorado – Scott Seamans, Lyndon ‘Duke’ Hanson and George Boedecker.
The trio were on a Caribbean sailing holiday in the early 2000s when they discovered a boating shoe made out of a foamy material called Croslite.
They had never seen footwear like it: lightweight, shock-absorbent, easy to clean, comfy, durable, slip-resistant and buoyant. So they bought the rights to Croslite technology and started making Crocs.
In 2002 the friends sold 200 pairs – then marketed as sailing shoes – for £23 each at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in Florida.
Supremely comfortable, Crocs sold especially well among people who worked on their feet: nurses, doctors, chefs, cleaners.
The company plodded along happily for a while, then during the financial crisis of 2007 almost went bankrupt. By 2017, the three founders had left and former banker Andrew Rees took over as CEO.

Today Crocs has 340 shops, sells in 90 countries and employs 6,680 people.
And the Shrek collaboration is far from the first bizarre collection released by the divisive brand.
Earlier this summer, MSCHF, the brand behind the sartorially controversial Big Red Boots, teamed up with equally divisive footwear makers Crocs to bring out a new collaboration.
The MSCHF X Crocs Big Red Boots (Yellow) takes the former brand’s viral shoe and marries it with the iconic features of the latter’s signature design.
For those who are feeling fashion adventurous, they can get the new boots, which have Paris Hilton fronting its campaign, for a cool $450.
In campaign photos, Hilton models the boots in a matching yellow two-piece set that gives off Kill Bill vibes with its vertical black lines.

Meanwhile in another image, she dons the footwear in a romper emblazoned with ‘SLIVING’ (the hotel heiress’s new catchphrase that is a blend of the words ‘slaying’ and ‘killing it’ that mean ‘living your best life,’ according to The Independent).
On MSCHF’s website, the brand states: ‘We’re mixing two samples to create something totally transformed and instantly recognizable. Crocs’ distinctive hole pattern and strap get transposed onto the big red boot silhouette.
‘Feel the breeze: If your toes can get wet in the rain, it’s technically a sandal. No jibbitz.’
