Henry Wrinkler, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael McKean and Ron Howard are among the many notable figures in Hollywood remembering Cindy Williams, who died on the age of 75.
The actress, who starred within the sitcom Laverne & Shirley, died in Los Angles on Wednesday following a brief sickness, in response to an announcement from her kids. “Understanding and loving her has been our pleasure and privilege,” the assertion learn. “She was certainly one of a sort, stunning, beneficiant and possessed a superb humorousness and a glittering spirit that everybody beloved.”
Henry Wrinkler, who met Williams whereas taking part in Fonzie on Pleased Days – the present that kicked off Laverne & Shirley, shared in an announcement to Latest Hollywood News, “Cindy has been my good friend {and professional} colleague since I met her on the set of Pleased Days in 1975. Not as soon as have I ever been in her presence when she wasn’t gracious, considerate and type. Cindy’s expertise was limitless. There was not a style she couldn’t conquer. I’m so glad I knew her.”
Jamie Lee Curtis took to her Instagram, writing, “Cindy was AMAZING! Such an awesome, pure comic. So huge open. Such a tragic loss.”
Ron Howard tweeted, “Her unpretentious intelligence, expertise, wit & humanity impacted each character she created & individual she labored with. We have been paired as actors on 6 totally different initiatives. American Graffiti a few dramas & then Pleased Days & Laverne and Shirley Fortunate me. RIP, Cindy.”
Yvette Nicole Brown, who says she met Williams when she appeared on an episode of The Odd Couple, stated on Twitter, “I hate this a lot. I simply hate it! Oh how I beloved Cindy Williams. After I was blessed to fulfill her on the set of The Odd Couple she was as pretty as I at all times imagined she’d be.”
