Katharine McPhee and her husband David Foster celebrated the holidays at The Grove’s annual tree lighting ceremony on Monday evening.
The couple, who have endured a difficult year following the loss of their son’s nanny, performed Christmas songs for fans at the iconic Los Angeles mall.
Katharine, 39, looked delightful in a festive black mini dress with a scoop neckline and feathered fringe along the hem. Her legs popped with the help of sheer heels.
Her glossy hair was pulled back with the help of a black bow with a few loose ringlets cascading along her dolled up complexion.
David, 74, cut a smart figure in a mocha blazer, button down vest, and blue jeans and crisp polo shirt. His feet were slipped into shiny black sneakers.
Oh Christmas tree! Katharine McPhee and her husband David Foster celebrated the holidays at The Grove’s annual tree lighting ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday evening
The duo had the audience in the palm of their hands as they hit the stage, which was decked out with illuminated trees and poinsettias.
David sat behind the piano as his lady love belted out tracks from their holiday album with the help of a live band.
The celebrations come after a difficult year for the couple, who have been mourning the loss of their son’s nanny.
In August, Yadira Calito, 55, a nanny for the couple’s two-year-old son Rennie, was hit by a car and then dragged for 20 feet at a Toyota Dealership.
She was struck by an 84-year-old woman, who had crashed her SUV into the customer reception area. She had apparently pressed down on the gas instead of the brakes.
In the wake of the tragedy, McPhee canceled the final two shows of her concert tour with her husband in Jakarta, Indonesia, upon hearing the news.
The elderly driver had reportedly been taking in her car for a service when she hit the gas instead of the brakes, causing the vehicle to collide with Calito.
Calito was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and later pronounced dead. The driver of the SUV was not arrested.

The singer, who had been busy performing in Asia with her 16-time Grammy Award-winning partner David, shared her family had endured a ‘horrible tragedy’ in a statement posted to her Instagram at the time.
It added: ‘Dearest Jakarta fans, it’s with heavy heart I announce I have to miss our final two shows of our Asia run.
‘David and I have had a horrible tragedy in our family and at least one of us needs to get back home to our family.
‘Please know how sorry I am and how much I wish to return one day and perform for you all. Love Katharine.’
The couple addressed the tragedy in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where Foster acknowledged just how difficult it had been on his wife.
‘It’s been tough for her,’ he told ET in September. ‘Yeah, it’s been tough. She’s managing,’ he said.
‘Than you,’ his wife said.
